April 14–April 16, 2017
If you plan to be in Dallas-Fort Worth for Easter and are looking for a special way to spend the weekend with your loved ones, DFW has you covered. Enjoy and share your photos with us, using the #DFWWeekend.
1. Fort Worth Stockyards Station Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday
Bring your kiddos to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards on Saturday to experience a free Texas-sized Easter egg hunt! After all the eggs are found, stick around to learn about old cowboy tricks at the Herd Cow Camp, take pictures with the Easter Bunny, attend Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show or even watch a real live Cattle Drive.
2. Easter Weekend at the Dallas Arboretum – Friday-Sunday
During Easter weekend at the Arboretum, you’re invited to enjoy live music, delicious food and drinks at Restaurant DeGolyer, activities for the munchkins, live bunnies and (of course) a scenic landscape.
3. Victorian Eggstravaganza and Spring Festival – Saturday
Want to step back in time? Stop by Plano’s historic Heritage Farmstead Museum this Saturday to hunt for Easter eggs, take a wagon ride or tour the 120-year-old farmhouse. Be sure to register on their website by Friday night to take part in this family fun.
4. Adult Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday
In Denton, you’re never too old for an Easter egg hunt. Stop by Audacity Brew House this Saturday to hunt for over 100 Easter eggs full of great adult prizes! Curious about where their beer is brewed and how it’s made? Come to Audacity before the egg hunt to take part in their free Brewery Tour.
