1. AT&T Byron Nelson – Thursday-Sunday (Irving)
This famous tournament offers much more than just golf. Sure, you can watch top touring players around the world compete in the championship, but you can also get their autograph in the Autograph Zone and “par-tee” it up around the course with food, drinks and entertainment. Check out our local tips for exploring the tournament.
2. Taste Addison – Friday-Sunday (Addison)
What have you been craving lately? Burgers? Seafood? Mediterranean? You don’t have to pick just one. Come taste them all (and more) in Addison this weekend! This celebration of food, music and fun features over 20 local restaurants, a wine and beer garden, a carnival and more. Stop by Sunday to get in for free!
3. Wildflower Arts & Music Festival – Friday-Saturday (Richardson)
The Wildflower Festival is going all out for their 25th anniversary this year. What began as a small community event has grown into a full-blown festival with big names like The B-52’s, Bowling for Soup, and Lynyrd Skynrd. Enjoy live music and food, shop at the marketplace or take a stroll down Performance Row (featuring up-and-coming local talent).
4. Main Street Fest – Friday-Sunday (Grapevine)
Three cheers for beer lovers! This festival is one of the largest craft brew tastings in Texas. For under $20, you can sample eight beers from over 30 breweries around the country. If you spot another one of the 75+ brews you want to try after you finish your last sample, don’t fret – additional tickets can be purchased on site. Follow us on Instagram this weekend as @BritishSam takes over our account during the fest.
5. Taste of Irving – Saturday (Irving)
Here in DFW, we enjoy food so much that there’s two food fests this weekend! Wander through the festival’s craft marketplace, listen to live music, or have fun with the kiddos in the Fun Zone, all while sampling snacks from over 20 food trucks and local restaurants. The best part? All of the items on the menu will be sold for $5 or less!
