WHERE TO GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT
MERRY MAIN STREET:
On Dec. 2, snap a photo with Santa, much on holiday treats and listen to Christmas carols at Simpson Plaza! Kiddos, bring a few bucks and head to the Kids Holiday Store, where you can buy your parents a present for under $5.
This local Wine Bar and Kitchen is located in a little house in the heart of Historic Downtown Frisco. They have live music almost every evening, and half price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. Perfect for wine-ding down!
This soon-to-be holiday tradition kicks off on Nov. 24 with the first annual lighting of the Cowboys Christmas tree! Then, on Fridays and Saturdays from Nov. 24 – Dec. 22, you can watch a special holiday performance on Tostitos Championship Plaza, featuring the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
Now through December, the Dr. Pepper Ice Arena will open its doors to the public for fun times on the ice! If you don’t pride yourself on your skating skills, don’t worry—they have “bucket zones” where beginning skaters can learn how to be pros.
This may be known as the largest choreographed holiday lights and music show in North Texas, but it’s much more than that! After driving through the lights, you can step out of the car and onto the ice skating rink, or walk through snow flurries on Friday and Saturday nights from Nov. 24 – Dec 31.
