Here are some of my favorite outdoor spaces that will take your photos to the next level. Go check the out and share your pics using #DFWHappenings!
1. Dallas Diamonds – 1804 McMillan Avenue (Dallas)
This colorful creation can be found just north of Downtown Dallas. It is a very bold art piece perfect for all your photo backdrop needs.
2. Deep Ellum Geometry – 2810 Elm Street (Dallas)
Located in Dallas’s famous Deep Ellum district, this mural features vibrant colors and bold shapes. This is a great backdrop for all your Dallas portrait needs (graduation season is almost here). And while in Deep Ellum be sure to try a local bar, restaurant or rock concert.
3. Denton Houses – 227 West Oak Street (Denton)
Right next to Denton Square, this unique wall art has a wide variety of colors and shapes. Thankfully, this is not what the housing situation in Denton looks like, but it sure makes for a great picture!
4. Lover’s Wall – 502 North Madison Avenue (Dallas)
Tucked in the beloved Bishop Arts District of Dallas, you may walk right past this wall art if you’re not looking for it. Make a day date, grab your sweetheart and pose for your new profile picture.
5. Love the Fort – 801 West Magnolia Avenue (Fort Worth)
Located next to gastropub and coffeehouse, Brewed in the trendy Near Southside area of Fort Worth, this mural features Cowtown’s culture. Grab a drink or something to eat inside, and snap a picture next to this Fort Worth favorite.
6. The Postcard – 11651 Camp Bowie West Boulevard (Aledo)
Located southwest of Fort Worth, this mural affirms the phrase, “Everything’s bigger in Texas.” As you look closely at the art, you’ll notice many aspects the Lone Star State is famous for…and a giant cowboy riding a jack rabbit, because why not?
