Dallas | July 28, 12:30 p.m.
Since 1995, Warped has been a must for those who love the punk scene. This year you can catch Bowling for Soup, Dance Gavin Dance, Save Ferris and more. Tickets are $43 (plus tax), and anyone under 16 will get a free parent ticket included in the price. From my experience over the years, Warped Tour never fails to be a day full of awesome music, band meet and greets and lasting memories!
Plano | July 28, 7 to 8 p.m.
Go for a swim and cool off in Plano’s historic Texas Pool and enjoy a performance from talented American Idol finalist, Josh Wright. Tickets include a full day of swimming in the Texas Pool, so feel free to come early and stay late!
Grapevine | July 28 through July 30
Kick off your SummerFest experience with Friday Night Fireworks at the All-American Garage Party, starting at 7 p.m. A live DJ will host fun and games as you wait for the light show to happen over Lake Grapevine! On Saturday night, head to the Legends of the Wild Wild West Show and Rock Out Glow Party. Overnight guests can also have fun at the Aquafina Splash Party with a live DJ, hair braiders, games and more.
Fort Worth | July 29 through 30, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Ever wondered what it’s like to walk next to a dinosaur? Find out this weekend at Discover the Dinosaurs! They’ll have giant, moving, roaring dinosaurs throughout the exhibit halls of the Will Rodgers Memorial Center, along with fun activities like Dino rides, scavenger hunts, fossil finds and more. Kiddos can even get up close and personal with a Tyrannosaurus Rex! Tickets are $19 per person.
Dallas | July 30, 7 p.m.
Have a rocking’ good time this Sunday jamming out to Styx, REO Speedwagon and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder. Tickets aren’t that expensive to see these big names – you can grab a lawn seat for $30 to $50.
