The Woodhouse Signature Four-Handed Massage at The Woodhouse Day Spa, Fort Worth and Plano
Two therapists, hence four hands, work out tense and knotted areas as you let the stress of your daily life melt away. Both therapists work in tandem over 80 minutes through choreographed and precise movements including relaxing Reflexology and a mind-blowing scalp massage. At $285, this massage is sure to double up on your sense of peace post-service. For the complete spa day, treat yourself to their signature Minkyti facial known to regenerate and oxygenate the skin.
5. For the Wanderluster
The Vital Scrub at King Spa & Water Park, Dallas
This is one of my must-experience places in the entire DFW Metroplex. It’s a Korean-style family spa much like one you would find in Seoul. The 40-minute, $70 Vital Scrub is an intense (not exaggerating) scrub that leaves you with outrageously exfoliated and soft skin for up to a week post-service. The Spa is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and admission ranges from $30-$45 which includes access to the wet spa, sauna rooms, water park and massage pools. Note for the modest: although separated by male and female areas, the general wet spa rules encourage going nude. Keep a lookout for semi-regular Groupon deals offering admission.
