Meet your friends and bring the entire family to spark your creativity at Plano Artfest in the Downtown Arts District. The weekend offers live entertainment, art installations, local food, and a makers market. Named one of the best small art festivals in the nation, Southlake’s Art in the Square has more than just art to offer. This Southlake signature event highlights over 150 artists around the country and includes a rockin’ line-up of live music and performing arts on two different stages. DENTON ARTS + JAZZ FESTIVAL | APRIL 27-29
Who doesn’t love exploring art while listening to festive Jazz music? Perfect for budding musicians, this three-day event features 3,000 artists, 7 stages, music, arts, crafts, children’s activities, tons of games, food and beverages. Many local North Texan artists display and sell their work in the main hall and throughout festival grounds, offering everything from jewelry to mugs. During the first full weekend of April, Deep Ellum Arts Festival takes over the east side of downtown Dallas. Already an eclectic neighborhood that’s a haven for live music, Deep Ellum shows off its lively, creative personality over this 3-day event. Experience 200 artists plus 150 original bands and performance artists on 6 different stages. The fest begins at Malcolm X Boulevard and extends to Exposition Hall.
