HOW IT WORKS
The Dallas CityPASS will get you access to a combination of attractions like the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Reunion Tower GeO-Deck, Dallas Zoo, The Sixth Floor Museum, George W. Bush Presidential Library, Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden and additional discounts—accounting for over 39% of savings in admission costs! The ticket booklet will cost you $48 for adults and $32 for children, ages 3-12. If you’re looking to save this spring break, book now because beginning March 1, 2018 adult tickets will be $49 and $33 for children. Request to print your tickets at home or sent to your smartphone and the passes can be redeemed right away. The pass must be used within nine days of your first visit, but that won’t be a problem because you’ll definitely be excited to visit each of these attractions that have helped define Dallas’ arts, history and culture.
PLAN YOUR ITINERARY
If you’re limited on time, each of the venues offered through CityPASS are located relatively close to each other—making it super easy to hit up multiple attractions. For example, history buffs can hop from The Sixth Floor Museum and George W. Bush Presidential Library within ten minutes. For my family, we like to make it a full day of adventure when using CityPASS. We start off by visiting the Dallas Zoo which can be pricey for a family of four, but the savings are unmatched. Plus you get to redeem additional discounts when using the pass like feeding a giraffe and the Adventure Safari Monorail. When the weather is warm, make time to stop at the splash park and enjoy interactive exhibits at the award-winning Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo.
The Dallas Arboretum is another great example of the additional discounts offered to CityPASS holders. Experience the new Roy Myers Children’s Adventure Garden, an 8-acre interactive children’s learning garden, at a discounted cost of $3 and a 10% discount on purchases at the Hoffman Family Gift Store. The Dallas Arboretum has the most beautiful gardens with a variety of plants and flowers along the paths and trails. Make it a memorable time by packing a lunch and enjoy a picnic with a view of White Rock Lake, known to be a favorite recreation spot among locals.
