This is one of our favorite workouts in the area. With locations in Dallas, Fort Worth and Southlake, you can sign up for spin or barre classes where the instructors preach encouragement, strength and confidence! While you might walk in caring more about what your body looks like on the outside, you’ll leave believing about how you feel on the inside.
You’ll have no problem finding Orangetheory with multiple locations in Arlington, Dallas, Frisco, Fort Worth, Plano and Southlake—to name a few. You workout in a group personal training class for one hour, and are promised extra calorie burn for up to 36 hours after! Experienced coaches push you through heart rate based interval training, so you can expect a personalized workout based on your skill level and health.
5. PURE BARRE
Pure Barre has a loyal following across the nation, with 40 locations in Texas. It is a total body workout that utilizes the ballet barre and challenges you to “push yourself from resolution to revolution.” That definitely resonates with us, as we start this year with the resolution to exercise!
While we may not look very graceful at The Bar Method, we like to pretend we have dancer-like bodies and try our best. The results are great for your balance and posture. Check out studios in Dallas, Plano, Southlake and coming soon to Frisco.
7. F45 TRAINING
F45 is new to us, and new to Lewisville. It is a new Australian-based fitness studio that combines elements of HIIT, Circuit Training and Functional Training. Better yet, you get a one-week free trial, so it’s perfect for visitors who are up for the challenge!
When we want our workout to be restorative, we go to Blue Anjou. Located in Lewisville, this studio prides itself on promoting “a supportive and non-competitive atmosphere.” If you are looking to explore more yoga in Dallas Fort Worth, find a complete list of DFW yoga studios here.
The method behind this pilates class in Dallas is that you can bend, stretch and move to build your physique. Exercises are based on using the Allegro 2 Pilates reformer. We are no stranger to SESSION and plan to master this workout this year.
