Known as the Christmas Capital of Texas, Grapevine should be on everyone’s list as the place to go to kick-start your holiday. If a visit to Grapevine doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit, you’re probably related to Ebineezer Scrooge.

CAROL OF LIGHTS:
On November 19, one million lights will shine on Main Street as visitors enjoy musical performances, fireworks and hot chocolate. Come early and get your picture taken with live reindeer!
There are few things more enchanting than light reflecting off the water. Head to the shores of Lake Grapevine on December 1, to watch watercrafts, decorated in twinkling lights, float to all of the marinas on the lake.
From the last weekend of November to each weekend in December, head to Main Street for a holiday shopping extravaganza. Indulge in delicious baked goods, taste local cheeses and check off your shopping list.

WHERE TO GET INTO THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT
Head to the Gaylord Texan for a Texas-sized winter wonderland. Two million pounds of ice are transformed into slides and magical sculptures based around this year’s theme, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Head to the Great Wolf Lodge for holiday storytime, visits from Santa, snowfall in the lobby and so much more! Make it even more special with a stay at one of their Snowland Suites, decked out in holiday cheer.
If the sun sets while you’re exploring Main Street, be sure to stop by the Grapevine Christmas Tree next to the Town Square Gazebo for magical twinkling. The Christmas Light Show happens nightly starting at 6 p.m.
The Texas Tenors are back! Last year, these Emmy-award winners performed at the National Tree Lighting in Washington, D.C., and now they’re bringing an unforgettable live show and holiday cheer to DFW from December 11 – 15.
