WHERE TO GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT

This local tradition on December 7 is not to be missed. Here, you’ll find hayrides through Old Town, shopping and crafts, a Christmas parade, tree lighting ceremony and a holiday movie under the stars.
Parents and kiddos will both love seeing Santa at Lewisville’s local whiskey distillery on December 14! They’ll have milk and cookies for the little ones and adult treats for those 21+. Be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page for more details!
Step back in time and get in the holiday spirit at Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) on December 21! You’ll get to tour the historic Minor-Porter Log Cabin and enjoy carols and cider by the campfire.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite from shopping, check out Prohibition Chicken for family-style fried chicken and Prohibition-era drinks. Snap a photo out front next to the Lewisville postcard to commemorate your visit.
The history of Tierney’s building dates back to 1885, but the recent renovations in 2007 have kept the integrity and charm at this popular dining spot. Round up your family and grab a spot on the patio to enjoy live music.
