WESTERN DAYS FESTIVAL – SEPTEMBER 28-29
Gunfighters rarely cross paths with champion tamale eaters and dance troupes outside of Western Days Festival. The fun-filled two-day event combines live music (25 bands), numerous performing arts acts, pony rides (go ahead, tell her), craft beer and other attractions. Friday’s headliner is Randy Rogers Band. The country outfit was twice ranked on Billboard’s hot country songs chart, notably for “One More Sad Song.” Saturday closes with country star Gary Allan.
Western Days Festival will be held in revitalized downtown Lewisville. The historic stretch of Main Street (commonly referred to as “Old Town”) is now a trendsetter, with boutique retail stores, restaurants, coffee shops, a distillery and a craft beer brewery that all offer endless entertainment options.
