One of the largest craft brew festivals in Texas, this three-day celebration is also known as super family-friendly and offers festivities for everyone! Main Street (in Historic Downtown Grapevine) comes alive as more than 160,000 people come to enjoy great food, attractions, live entertainment (including Sundance Head, Season 11 winner of The Voice) and an action-packed KidZone (for the mom and dad tag team).
Now’s your chance to walk the walk and talk the talk with craft brew enthusiasts from around the country and 36 breweries from fifteen states. Your education in craft brew starts in the middle of the festival grounds and includes eight 3-ounce pours from a selection of more than 75 craft brews. Just be on the lookout for Sierra Nevada. They’re releasing some of their special limited craft beers at the festival, including two not available in Texas and one that won’t be available anywhere else until Fall. This area requires a separate ticket, and you can purchase it in advance for $15 here, $18 at festival. Festival admission is not included.
Come to Main Street Fest to meet Crystal and Tara Luxmore, The Brew Sisters. These real‐life sisters are Certified Cicerones, Beer and Cider Judges. From Toronto, Canada, they write about beer and craft brew for major magazines and newspapers, appear as experts on TV and radio, and lead guided tastings and events with beer and craft brew at the center for clients in Canada and the U.S. There is nothing they like more than talking about beer and craft brew — except drinking it. The Beer Sisters will be one of the highlights of the 33rd Annual Main Street Fest, meeting and greeting guests and talking about craft brews at a variety of events throughout the three-day festival.
But before you award a couple of new brews shelf-space in your fridge, pop in to any one of the three pavilions – The Texas Wine & Beer Depot, The Grapevine Wine Pavilion and The Premium Wine & Beer Pavilion – for final craft brew tips, a last sample and a final cheer to a weekend for the books.
