1. KATY TRAIL
Probably the most well-known trail in Dallas, the Katy Trail is perfect for families, bikers, dogs walkers, joggers or runners. The 3.5 mile-long path built on the historic Katy Railroad connects the Knox, Uptown and Victory Park neighborhoods and features several great stops for food and entertainment along the way.
With stunning views of downtown Dallas and spanning over 4.5 miles, this open trail can be accessed by the Trinity River Overlook near Trinity Groves, so you can grab a bite to eat pre or post run. We recommend entering the trail off of Trammell Crow Park or by the Continental Avenue Bridge.
Fort Worth’s Trinity Trails span over 40 miles along the winding Trinity River. Whether running, walking, cycling or even horseback riding, you’ll find something to stop and admire! The Trinity Trails connect 21 parks, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and Japanese Garden, Log Cabin Village, Fort Worth Zoo, the Stockyards and downtown Fort Worth.
