Safari Nights is fun for the whole family. While the party heats up when the sun goes down, there’s plenty to do to make a full day of fun at the Dallas Zoo. Tickets to Safari Nights are included with regular Zoo admission, ($17 adults, $14 seniors and ages 3-11 and free under 2) so head there during the day to see over 2,000 animals; feed giraffes in the Giants of the Savanna habitat; enjoy Hippo Outpost; and new baby gorilla Saambili. It was an amazing experience to see the adborable Saambili bond with her mom, Hope. We also loved feeding the giraffes. Fun fact: They have blue tongues!
Pro Tip: Bring your own chairs and blankets to get comfy for the show and come hungry! There’s plenty of food truck fare to indulge in and you can wash it all down with the beer garden. If you want the full VIP experience, you can reserve a private cabana–complete with comfy chairs, refreshments and fans! Parking is free for members and $10 per car for non-members.
