ADDISON OKTOBERFEST (Thursday – Sunday):
Combine Bavarian culture (yes…beer is front and center) with a beautiful fall evening and you’ll find a great place to set yourself up for the array of festivals that take place this weekend. Due to localized flooding from heavy rains overnight, Addison Oktoberfest will be closed on Saturday, September 22 with the exception of those with paid reservations at Chamberlain’s Brau Haus.
The Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum is ideally situated between the Oktoberfest action in Addison and the shopping action at the Dallas Galleria…which means you can bring home some nice fashion to go with the additions to your beer stein collection.
We love Legacy West in Plano for its very upscale community feel. Shopping, entertainment, food and now a great hotel – the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West. Call for information about valet parking your hot air balloon.
Comfortable convenience is the name of the game if you want to see a lot of DFW on a weekend. The Hyatt Place Arlington/Grand Prairie is close three of this weekend’s headline festival experiences: Fright Fest,EpicFest and Oktoberfest LIVE.
Hot air never looked so good at the Plano Balloon Festival. Food, entertainment and tethered balloon rides. Check out one of the most photographed festivals in Texas and start trending on social media. PLEASE NOTE: The festival and all race activities have been cancelled. Please stay safe this weekend. #planoballoonwww.planoballoonfest.org
Grand Prairie is one of the epicenters of DFW diversity and this festival celebrates it. Great family entertainment and food all-day are capped off by a monarch butterfly release. This is the best place to find your weekend zen moment. PLEASE NOTE: This event has been canceled due to weather.
There’s nothing more authentic than Main Street. Irving celebrates the family heritage of Irving and Main Street America at Main Street Event. Food, children’s entertainment, crafts and fashion. Made in USA.
This is the Rodeo Drive of food halls located in Plano. Incredibly diverse food and beverage options complete with craft beer pub and entertainment at the Lexus Box Garden. Free parking for your Maserati.
GET YOUR THRILL ON AT SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS IN ARLINGTON:
Fall means Halloween, and Six Flags Over Texas celebrates it with the annual Fright Fest. Jump start your heart on a super hero-inspired thrill ride or get jarred to life via a wandering ghoul. You won’t need coffee for a week. PLEASE NOTE: Due to weather conditions, Six Flags Over Texas has been closed for Saturday.
POUND SOME GROUND AT THE PLANO BALLOON FESTIVAL RUNS
If you checked out DFW from a balloon on Saturday, why not see it at ground level and get some exercise at the same time on Sunday? Great course and distance options. Eat big afterwards. PLEASE NOTE: The festival and all race activities have been cancelled. Please stay safe this weekend. #planoballoonwww.planoballoonfest.org
