They encourage family-style meals, and the entire menu consists of 3 things: chicken fajitas, beef fajitas, and appetizers (Nachos, tacos, chile con queso, and guacamole).
It’s great for celebrations because their patio is dreamy, the food is delicious and the entire vibe of the place makes you feel like you’re in a foreign land.
If you’re into super casual celebrations and love Chinese food, Fortune House in Irving is the way to go. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this place has the best soup dumplings I’ve had in my life.
They also make bomb sweet and sour chicken (which I know sounds basic, but trust me — theirs is the best). I like this place for their food, and because you can celebrate on a decent budget!
This place is an entire vibe in itself. From the moment you walk through the front door, you feel like a celebrity when visiting this Plano hotspot! They have delicious Japanese food and great drinks, too.
My favorite thing about KĀI is that it gives me nightclub vibes at night, without the elbow to elbow crowded space. Plus, it’s in the heart of Legacy West, so when you’re done with dinner you can take a stroll down to Legacy Food Hall and partake in whatever festivities they have going on that night. There’s always something!
KĀI is “high-energy” fancy, but Jasper’s is “let me put your napkin on your lap for you, ma’am” fancy! This place is perfect for parties, because they have a private room that you can request.
Yes, they have amazing steaks, and yes their seafood is great, but trust me when I say you need to order the braised short ribs. I took my dad when he was in town, because I wanted to treat him to a nice dinner — I ordered the Delmonico and he ordered the short ribs. He let me taste them and I literally couldn’t stop eating them. They’re SO good!
If sports are your thing (and even if they aren’t), Sports & Social is a great choice for parties. First of all, it’s a huge restaurant, so getting a table for a large group shouldn’t be too hard.
Plus, they have games in the restaurant that you can play while you’re waiting for your food, or after you’ve had a few drinks and are feeling extra competitive. Because it’s at Texas Live!, you can go catch a baseball or football game while you’re in the Arlington area! They even have free, live concerts that you can watch and enjoy if you’re one of those non-sportsy people (no judgement here!).
Another fancy-pants restaurant option is J2 Steakhouse in Lewisville. They’re known for their ever-changing menu and their in-house dry aged steaks. Fun fact: This little gem is housed in Lewisville’s old historic feed mill!
I like J2 Steakhouse for celebrations because you really never know what you’re going to get — but you always know its going to be delicious. You can tell they’re super passionate about their food because their menu is well thought out and changes monthly. Yes, please!
