Shop handmade goods from around the world at the University of Arlington’s Green at College Park! Over 40 master artists and makers will be selling their works from Italy, Ghana, Nigeria, Ukraine, Peru and more. Tickets are $10 online, $15 at the door and free for shoppers under 16. Swing by on Saturday afternoon for free admission to the market!
Fort Worth | June 15 – 17
In a galaxy far, far away, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra performed the music from Star Wars set to a laser light show…Ok, it’s actually not that far away, but the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will make you feel like you’re in another galaxy! Grab your lightsaber and head to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden for a magical night of Star Wars songs and laser lights. Tickets start at $25.
Dallas | June 15
The Dallas Arts District’s Summer Block Party is back for another year of fun! Come celebrate arts and culture in the LGBTQ+ community with live concerts, movie screenings and tours through some of the most popular art museums in the Metroplex. This free event is right by Klyde Warren Park, so grab dinner at one of their many food trucks and explore Dallas’ coolest park before kicking off your night of fun at the block party.

For over 25 years, African American cowboys and cowgirls have been wowing audiences at the Texas Black Invitational Rodeo. Come watch them compete at the State Fair Coliseum in Historic Fair Park and learn the many ways African Americans contributed to the settling of the western United States. There’s several Juneteenth celebrations happening this weekend, but this is definitely a unique Texan way to celebrate African American heritage and freedom in DFW!
Grapevine | June 17
Treat dad to a special Fathers’ Day experience with a ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad! Travel in an authentic 1920’s Victorian-style coach to the Fort Worth Stockyards, where you can watch the Cattle Drive or visit the World’s Largest Honky Tonk, Billy Bob’s Texas.
