1. NATIONAL FANTASY FOOTBALL CONVENTION
Fort Worth | July 13 – 15
If you’re counting down the days ‘til September 6 (and already know who you’re picking for your fantasy football team), you won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind weekend at Will Rogers Memorial Center. Come mingle with fellow fans, chat with industry experts or shop in the Fan Expo Hall! Better yet, they’ll have player Q&As, photograph and autograph opportunities with 200 NFL players including Dez Bryant, Ezekiel Elliot and more from our favorite Cowboys team.

2. BASTILLE ON BISHOP
Dallas | July 14
Oui, Oui! Remember Bastille Day and enjoy French food, wine, music and more at this annual, free, family-friendly festival. Even Fido is welcome to join in the festival fun! If you want to sip French wine as you stroll through the market, be sure to purchase a festival souvenir glass in advance. Oh, and don’t be shy about dressing up in your best French outfit for the occasion: Stripes and berets are très chic!
3. PARKER COUNTY PEACH FESTIVAL
Weatherford | July 14
Looking for a peachy good time? Head to Historic Downtown Weatherford for live music, over 200 arts, crafts, food and activity booths, and (of course) peaches! If you have a peach-based recipe that’s been known to wow friends and family, don’t miss your chance to submit it in the Peach Festival Food Competition. Tickets to the festival are $5 for adults and free for kiddos 12 and under!
4. ICE CREAM SOCIAL AT NASH FARM
Grapevine | June 14
Historic Nash Farm may have been built in the 1800s, but it’s still one of my favorite places to spend a summer evening…and this ice cream social only sweetens the deal! Come celebrate National Ice Cream Day a day early with Victorian lawn games, live music and delicious scoops of ice cream. Pro Tip: Bring a lawn blanket and pack a picnic for a memorable family outing at the farm.
5. HARLEY QUINN SPINSANITY OPENING WEEKEND
Arlington | July 14
The wait is finally over! Starting Saturday, you can be one of the first to ride the newest thrill at Six Flags Over Texas. DFW is going spinsane over this new topsy-turvy ride that features unpredictable gravity-defying flips and pivots up to seven stories above the ground. Experience it for yourself in GOTHAM CITY, then spend the day riding classic favorites like the Texas SkyScreamer.
6. 2018 USA SOFTBALL GOLD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Wrap up your weekend with a home run at Heritage Yards! For the first time in 23 years, the GOLD National Championships are taking place in Texas.
