Spring is finally in the air, and what’s a better way to celebrate than soaking in the outdoors while jamming out to country music at Oak Point Park Ampitheater? For a good time with lots of laughs, round up your friends and swing by the 10th annual Dallas Comedy Festival this weekend! This five day event features a variety of acts including Daniel Van Kirk (found on Bob’s Burgers, The NFL Network, and more), Jaime Moyer (2 Broke Girls and Modern Family), and Maribeth Monroe (The Good Place and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend). Pro-tip: Can’t wait until the weekend? The Dallas Comedy Fest has FREE shows on Wednesday and Thursday night!

5. VINO PALOOZA
Wine flies when you’re having fun, and at Vino Palooza, there will be an ample amount of both wine AND fun! This two day event takes place in two different cities, with each day featuring wine tastings (and beyond – including small bites, craft beer, and spirits) from over 20 wineries. Vino Palooza will be hosted by J-Si Chavez (who you can tune into on Kidd Kraddick in the Morning) and includes musical performances by Bowling for Soup’s Jaret Reddick and Matchbox Twenty’s Kyle Cook. Fun fact: Vino Palooza’s Dallas event is at Ferris Wheelers Backyard & BBQ, a local hotspot with games and (you guessed it) a 50-foot ferris wheel.

Let’s playyy ball! Grab your blue and red gear and head to Globe Life Park in Arlington — Texas Rangers opening weekend is finally here! With games on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, the forecast calls for a Ranger-filled weekend. You won’t want to miss this opening weekend, because it’s the last season that the Rangers will play in Globe Life Park before moving to the all new Globe Life Field in March 2020.
