My favorite bar in Dallas is Tiny Victories, and they just launched their summer menu to include a Miami Vice. No, this isn’t just something you can order at a swim up bar while on an all-inclusive vacation! Half Pina Colada, half Strawberry Daiquiri, one amazingly tasty cocktail. Best part, it’s just $6 during happy hour (Tuesday through Friday from 4-7 PM)!
Near the American Airlines Center in Victory Park is my second favorite Dallas drinking spot! Billy Can Can is my go-to before and after Dallas Mavs and Stars games, and it’s home to the best Daiquiri in town! Who knew rum, lime, and sugar could taste so good?
Dallas has so many options for delightful tiki drinks I can’t possibly include them all. Others definitely worth checking out during your visit are Midnight Rambler at The Joule, Bourbon and Banter at The Statler, Parliament in Uptown, Industry Alley in the Cedars, and Izkina in Deep Ellum.
4. THE KEEPER
Plano has no shortage of island-themed libations! The Keeper at the Shops at Legacy has an entire Tiki menu, complete with Mai Tai’s and Painkillers. The inside of this restaurants is adorable, but you’ll want to pair your cocktail with fresh seafood on The Keeper’s gorgeous patio to complete the experience!
6. 4 KAHUNAS
Arlington is home to one of the most authentic tiki bars in all of DFW — 4 Kahunas! Escape the grind at this island oasis while throwing back a Rum Old Fashioned or a Scorpion Bowl (to be shared with 3-4 friends). This slice of paradise was even named one of the best tiki bars in America by The Food Network!
8. BIRD CAFE
Bird Cafe in Sundance Square is a Fort Worth favorite for southern style cuisine, but that’s not all you can enjoy here. Come sip on tiki cocktails from their Nectar for the Birds menu while taking in views from the 2300 square foot patio! The Oh Mai Tai features Sailor Jerry Rum and Prickled Pink is made with a passion fruit purée. Yum!
