This weekend may begin with Friday the 13th, but we’re in luck! There’s something exciting happening every day in Dallas-Fort Worth—from carnivals to food truck fests. While you’re out having fun, capture your memories and tag them with #DFWWeekend for a chance to be featured on our website or social media channels!
Ennis | April 11 – 15
The carnival is back in historic downtown Ennis! Experience small-town Texas fun with food, games and (of course) amusement rides. You can snag an unlimited ride pass for just $30, then head out to their Bluebonnet fields and snag a Texas photo for the memory books. After all, Ennis is known for their fields of blue!
Irving | April 13 – 15
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Irving’s newest entertainment and music venue, this event needs to be on your #DFWWeekend checklist. The weekend-long celebration features free live music, aerialists and fire performers! Need more convincing? Tickets to Friday night’s Brad Paisley concert at the TMF Pavilion start at the low price of $35.
Lewisville | April 14
Unleash your inner artist in historic Old Town Lewisville during their annual spring celebration! Whether you want to show off your chalk art skills, tie-dye t-shirts, take a mini Painting with a Twist class or learn how to play a new instrument, you can do it all here. Better yet, this event is free!
Frisco | April 13
Foodies, rejoice! You can sample the best food truck fare in North Texas at this annual free fest. Walk the streets of Historic Downtown Frisco, taste dishes from 15+ food trucks and explore works from 50+ vendors—all to the sounds of live music from local artists.
Grapevine | April 14
Give a toast to the good life and wine down the weekend! For $45, enjoy wine tastings from nine of Grapevine’s premier wineries and view fine art at one of the many participating galleries along Main Street. With your ticket, you’ll also receive a souvenir wine glass and admission to Blessing of the Vines, a centuries-old tradition at the vineyards. NOTE: This event is 21+.
