Since this was B.F. (Before Frisco), my parents had to drive to downtown Dallas to find a jersey at a decent price. Even though I became a New York Giants fan the next year (send hate mail to my editor; she’ll forward it to me), I plan to return the favor this year and buy them some cool Cowboys gear. Whether you’re looking to buy a jersey for yourself or someone else, here’s a rundown of the best places to find Cowboys gear in DFW.
This Cowboys cornucopia in Frisco offers ample eateries and a surplus of shops to deck your wardrobe. Pair your shopping excursion with some pizza and ice cream, and when it’s time to work off that aforementioned food, you can jaunt over to the artificial turf to toss a pigskin. Just ignore that guy in the Giants jersey; I have no idea who that is. Fun Fact: The Star in Frisco, Dallas Cowboys HQ, is also located here. Take a tour to see where the Cowboys practice.
This mecca of Cowboys fandom is located in the mecca of North Texas shopping. The Galleria Dallas truly has something for everyone (I’m an Auntie Anne’s man) and the Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop is your one-stop shop for all of the swanky decor and decals your Cowboys-loving heart could desire. I suggest you head to this Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop because it’s inside one of the best shopping malls in Dallas, but you can also get gear at one of their many locations throughout DFW (including inside DFW Airport).
4. TEXAS LIVE!
Arlington’s extravagant entertainment utopia offers big league fun and food, and plenty of gear for Cowboys and Rangers fans. While you’re there, you can catch a show, see the sights and enjoy some fine eats. Even though they don’t take too kindly to my Giants jersey, I still enjoy the fiestas, merch, and fireworks offered by the bountiful Texas Live!
5. AT&T STADIUM
There’s something special about getting your first football jersey at a football game. (During my year of fandom, this is one of the many arguments I employed in an attempt to convince my parents to take me to a Cowboys game. Sadly, it did not work). When you go to watch the Cowboys this year, you can pick up your gear at the game. AT&T Stadium offers plenty of options throughout the stadium where you can get your Cowboys get-up! Even when it isn’t game day, you can enjoy the thrill of getting gear from Jerryworld — The Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop at AT&T Stadium is open seven days a week.
